Meet Our Attorneys

Stephen P. Gunther is a founding Partner in Gunther & Patel, LLC. He primarily handles employment litigation and personal injury matters.

Prior to starting the firm, Mr. Gunther worked in private practice with a focus on employment litigation, Workers’ Compensation, personal injury, and mass tort litigation. He has experience in cases across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in state and federal courts.

Mr. Gunther earned his Juris Doctorate and graduated Cum Laude in 2017 from Widener Law Commonwealth. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.

In his time away from the firm, Mr. Gunther enjoys spending time with his wife Vanessa and their two children Brea and Drew. He heads up a non-profit called Wishes for Drew, Inc. which helps children fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, of which his son is affected. He also enjoys running, camping, fishing, and anything out in nature.

Vipul T. Patel is a founding Partner in Gunther & Patel, LLC. He primarily handles employment litigation and business law matters.

Prior to starting the firm, Mr. Patel began his career in the Tax & Legal Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York. Subsequently, he spent 17 years in business management.

Mr. Patel earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener Law Commonwealth. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

In his time away from the firm, Mr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. He also enjoys traveling and sports.

La Tasha C. Williams is of counsel to the firm. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Williams clerked for the Honorable Maria Musti Cook, York County Court of Common Pleas, where she concentrated her legal research and writing in the areas of search and seizure laws, criminal appeals, and the Post-Conviction Relief Act. After her clerkship, Ms. Williams worked as an Assistant District Attorney in York County and later as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Franklin County prosecuting hundreds of cases at every stage of the criminal judicial process.

Ms. Williams enjoys spending time with family and volunteering with several non-profit organizations to include Art For Justice, Inc. and The Legal Kid Foundation.
